Take the stress out of your accounts and enjoy profitable business growth

Work with us to make more time for your family

CH Accountancy was founded in January 2014, providing essential accountancy and taxation services to individuals, owner-managed businesses and small / medium sized companies, with a particular focus on being family-friendly.

CH Accountancy makes completing your accounts as painless, hassle-free and simple as possible. We ensure that deadlines are met and that you are always aware of any tax liabilities at the earliest possible opportunity, helping you to budget and plan ahead. We provide you with a full profit and loss statement, balance sheet and supporting notes, to help you stay on top of your accounts.

Each and every client and business are totally unique, and we work with you to ensure you make sound financial decisions and your accounts are prepared and submitted perfectly, year after year. We have a fast-growing client base with over 135 limited companies and over 75 self-assessment clients.

Many of our clients mix and match the services we offer; some have a full accounting package including bookkeeping and payroll, others simply have their accounts prepared and filed. We will work to whatever suits you and your business needs, making sure you have plenty of time to spend with your family.

Meet the Team

Accountant Pig

As a hardworking mum of two young boys, and step-mum to two more boys and one girl; having five children between 18 months and 11 years, certainly keeps me busy. That’s why I fully understand and appreciate the need for more flexibility around core services when it comes running a business as well as looking after your family; that’s why I have created a business model that works perfectly for busy mums and dads who have their own businesses.

I have nearly 15 years’ experience working for accounting practices, and within a business; dealing with a range of successful, fast-growing businesses. I became AAT (Association of Accounting Technicians) qualified in 2006 and completed a Payroll Management Diploma with ICB. I pride myself on my commitment to my clients and the consistent, high-quality service that I provide. I am passionate about my own professional development and completed my ACCA (Association of Chartered Certified Accountants) qualification in May 2017. Over the last three

years, CH Accountancy has gone from strength to strength and is growing rapidly into our new premises, with our team members Louise and Vikki.

I love being able to help other parents to realise their dreams and set up their own businesses. It can be quite challenging at times to juggle work and family life, but when you have the professional support you need in place, it really can work.

One thing that’s always been a key driver in pushing my business forward is to have something to work towards - and my bucket list is full of incredible destinations around the globe. Australia is top of my list - as an Ozzy soap geek, I absolutely need to visit the Home & Away and Neighbours TV sets!  I’d love to road-trip around America in a Winnebago, and experience peace, relaxation and contemplation in Thailand; there are so many more places to discover, but one guarantee is it will never happen in Tax Return January!

Louise joined CH Accountancy in September 2016 as Accounts Administrator where she assists with bookkeeping, CIS, payroll, customer care and ensures admin and systems processes working efficiently.

A mum of three, Louise fits CH Accountancy perfectly, working flexibly alongside family life whilst she continues with her studies. Part AAT qualified, currently working through Level 4, Louise will soon be fully qualified. She’s perfectly suited for this role as she loves all things mathematically-related and keeps her mind constantly challenged.

Before joining CH Accountancy, Louise had her own business for 6 years as a professional cakemaker – so she understands all too well how time-consuming dealing with company accounts can be. Specialising in sumptuous wedding cakes, birthday cakes and amazing giant cupcakes - how was she ever not going to get this job?

Louise has forged incredibly strong relationships with her clients, taking on more responsibility quickly and efficiently and getting more involved in self-assessment and payroll tasks. Louise, is particularly proud be looking after the charity, Dementia Adventure.

Vikki is the latest and much needed addition to the CH Accountancy team, having joined in January 2018 as a fully qualified Accountant. She has the role of preparing limited company accounts and forecasting and budgeting for our clients.

With a wealth of industry know-how, Vikki has a number of years’ experience dealing with a wide range of business sectors. ACCA qualified, Vikki is also a qualified teacher of business studies, accounting and economics at GCSE and A Level; articulate and methodical, all with the patience of a saint!

Being part of the CHA flexible working team means that Vikki is now back in a role and industry that she loves as well being able to work around her 3-year old daughter’s nursery place and being present for her family when she’s not working.

With a keen eye for detail and a genuine interest in numbers, Vikki is already thriving as part of this growing team of accounting experts.

“Cheryl is a very professional and approachable accountant who takes great pride in her work. She is always working extremely hard to be the most proficient accountant and making sure she is abreast of the latest information so she can pass this onto her customers.
